Harnessing solar energy to preserve the legacy of a world heritage site for generations to come
Caffi Wylfa is a cafe and visitor centre located in close proximity to a world heritage site and the community hub for the residents of Chirk and a focal point of the community.
The cafe attracts in excess of 50,000 visitors per annum and forms part of the infrastructure to support the world heritage site. However, due to the property being all electric and the ever increasing electricity costs, the future for the property required a sustainable way of reducing the electricity costs.
