From Unaffordable to Unstoppable
The client described that the under floor heating and hot water cylinder system in situ at her property were insufficient, inoperable and extremely expensive to run, she was having to carefully choose when she could heat her home and use hot water.
Shropshire Council confirmed the client was eligible for Government grant under the HUG2 scheme to upgrade her heating and hot water system. RJW Electrics installed an array of Dimplex Quantum High Heat Retention Electric Storage Heaters throughout the property specified to the room dimensions. This included a Dimplex smart hub, providing the customer with the ability to alter the heater setting from her phone as required due to limited sight and mobility.
A Sunamp Thermino Heat Store Battery was installed in replacement of an oversized hot water system, to produce on-demand hot water to the client, at a much less running cost.
